System Engineer – Microsoft Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a System Engineer to own and evolve our Microsoft infrastructure. You will work independently in a fast‑moving IT environment, handling end‑to‑end problems and ensuring reliable services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and support Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and File Services.
• Run Hyper‑V infrastructure and virtual machines.
• Monitor and manage Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure services.
• Install, maintain and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server.
• Participate in server deployments, migrations and upgrades (physical and virtual).
• Monitor system health, investigate incidents and drive fixes.
• Support IIS and SFTP services.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for complex issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, technology upgrades and process improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures and IT asset records.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or similar hands‑on role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related field.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to own work and deliver reliable results.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
