Stocks Accounting Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Stocks Accounting Associate to join our finance team at CORAL, a leading player in the Greek oil market. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, supporting fiscal reporting, and collaborating with operational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform stock reconciliations, controlling purchases, sales, gains, losses and movements across own and third‑party depots.
• Identify and correct negative stock balances and reconcile movements against FI‑GL.
• Calculate and verify Weighted Average Cost (WAC) evaluations.
• Prepare internal stock reports and submit required data to fiscal authorities.
• Issue the fiscal Warehouse Book in line with regulations.
• Guide site and plant operators on stock processes and resolve variances.
• Act as a key business user in projects related to stock operations, reconciliations and valuation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably with stock, accounts payable/receivable or tax operations.
• Knowledge of SAP / SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
