Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

Dion is looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to own how the brand appears across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms. This hands‑on role blends content creation, trend spotting and community engagement to shape Dion’s cultural presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Dion’s social strategy across multiple platforms, tailoring content to each channel.
• Create end‑to‑end content – from concept, filming and editing to copywriting, design coordination and publishing.
• Manage the day‑to‑day social calendar around product launches, partnerships, events and community moments.
• Source, brief and coordinate creators and community members to generate authentic UGC.
• Capture real‑time events, brand activations and cultural moments for immediate social distribution.
• Engage with comments, DMs and broader cultural conversations to build a genuine community.
• Turn collaborations with global brands and venues into compelling social moments.
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, traffic, conversion) and use insights to improve future content.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in social media, content, marketing or creative roles, preferably at a consumer‑focused startup or lifestyle brand.
• Deep passion for internet culture and a strong instinct for current trends without chasing them.
• Ability to shoot and edit short‑form video content independently.
• Excellent copywriting – simple, confident, sharp and human.
• Comfortable collaborating with creators, influencers, photographers and videographers.
• Organised enough to manage a content calendar while remaining flexible to react to real‑time events.
• Focus on both creative quality and measurable performance.
• Proactive builder who doesn’t wait for perfect briefs before taking action.
