Site Engineer (Construction Projects)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our construction team in Thessaloniki. The role involves overseeing building projects, ensuring compliance with design studies, and coordinating on‑site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Organize, supervise and coordinate construction works on assigned sites.
• Ensure correct implementation of project studies in collaboration with the senior works manager.
• Manage on‑site work organization, collect subcontractor measurements and verify them.
• Participate in preparing subcontractor certifications together with the senior works manager.
• Conduct inspections of materials and executed works according to contractual requirements, quality program and specifications.
• Complete quality control forms and assist in final quality inspections.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and update the project log.
• Support material and equipment selection, market research and preparation of procurement contracts.
• Monitor project financials and supervise subcontractor activities in line with building permits.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a polytechnic university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on building projects.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
