Service Technician - Patras

About the role

Vestas is looking for a Service Technician to join its wind‑energy service team in Patras. You will work on wind turbines, ensuring high‑quality service, optimal production, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform work at height following the highest safety and environmental standards.
• Carry out periodic maintenance inspections according to Vestas specifications, replacing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Ensure smooth operation of wind turbines and monitor their condition.
• Maintain company vehicles and warehouse, ordering materials, tools and spare parts as needed.
• Assemble components and spare parts following work instructions, using internal or external cranes when required.
• Create and log detailed reports of all performed activities.

Required profile

• Technical education in electrotechnics, automation, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in maintenance of electrical or mechanical equipment, preferably in the wind‑energy sector.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Completed military service for male candidates.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Physical ability to climb turbines and work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel to other sites when required.
