Service Technician – Lifting Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join Konecranes and provide repair, maintenance and service for customers’ lifting equipment. The role involves working on overhead cranes and hoists, ensuring safety and reliability while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair, maintenance and service of lifting equipment, including overhead cranes and hoists.
• Carry out service inspection contracts, refurbishment and modernisation projects.
• Install, test and certify new equipment.
• Provide on‑site support and interact directly with customers.
• Adhere to safety standards and work at heights when required.

Required profile

• Apprentice‑trained or equivalent with knowledge of electrical and/or engineering disciplines.
• Good command of Greek, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills for extensive customer contact.
• Physically fit, able to work at heights and hold a valid driving licence.
• Willingness to work extra hours, including weekends.
