About the role
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a full‑time position based in Thessaloniki, responsible for maintaining CNC machines and woodworking equipment. The role focuses on inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and ensure safe operation.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, inspections and repairs on CNC and woodworking machinery.
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose electrical and automation faults and resolve them quickly.
- Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams and keep maintenance logs up to date.
- Support installation and commissioning of new production lines.
- Assist in continuous improvement of maintenance procedures.
- Occasionally visit customer sites to provide technical support.
Required profile
- Strong background in electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance for industrial machinery.
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing, CNC or robotics environments.
- Knowledge of automation systems, CNC controls and industrial robotics (beneficial).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, test equipment and maintenance software.
- Commitment to safety, problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
