Senior Procurement Category Officer

About the role

Fourlis Group is seeking a Senior Procurement Category Officer to lead the management of indirect spend categories such as IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities and professional services. Reporting to the Group Procurement Category Manager, you will act as a trusted business partner and drive cost‑saving initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for indirect spend categories.
• Provide guidance and challenge to stakeholders throughout sourcing and contracting.
• Conduct spend and market analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Run competitive sourcing processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), evaluate bids and negotiate commercial terms.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Track cost savings, cost avoidance and value‑creation initiatives.
• Oversee contract renewals, renegotiations and ensure business continuity.
• Report on procurement KPIs and deliver insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with Fourlis Group Procurement Policy and internal procedures.
• Support vendor risk management and monitor supplier compliance with code of conduct and sustainability commitments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a procurement function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Adaptability to change and strong negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Use of e‑tender platforms.
• Digital skills for data analysis and reporting.
