Senior OT Security Engineer

About the role

PwC is expanding its OT Security Practice and seeks a Senior OT Security Engineer to help clients protect industrial systems and critical infrastructure. You will work with global organisations, delivering complex cybersecurity projects and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse OT architecture and co‑lead assessments of SCADA, DCS, IIoT and other industrial control systems.
• Identify cybersecurity risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement security controls tailored to industrial environments.
• Develop and customise security frameworks based on ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800‑82.
• Maintain asset inventories, network diagrams and OT security documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, OT and engineering teams to embed security into processes and lifecycles.
• Research emerging threats, technologies and best practices in industrial cybersecurity.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Automation, Electronics or Computer Science.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial cybersecurity or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with OT/ICS/IoT systems such as SCADA, PLCs, DCS or IIoT.
