Senior .NET & React Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in .NET and React to join MECCANICA’s development team in Kallithea, Athens. You will design, build and maintain high‑performance web applications that support our consulting, operations and engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain backend services using C#.NET (Core) and ASP.NET Core Minimal APIs.
• Create responsive front‑end interfaces with React.js, leveraging hooks, context API and modern state‑management libraries.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and conduct code reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve defects, and contribute to architectural decisions ensuring scalability, security and performance.
• Maintain technical documentation and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers and work effectively in a team.
