Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will join Profile Software’s Algosystems team in Athens to design, implement, integrate, support and optimise enterprise‑grade security solutions for the company’s FinTech customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate and troubleshoot a wide range of security technologies.
• Support complex customer environments, projects and Managed Services, ensuring security, availability, performance and SLA compliance.
• Perform implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations and resolve technical problems.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, implementation plans and operational procedures.
• Act as senior escalation point for engineers, resolving complex security issues.
• Collaborate with architects, project teams, vendors and customers during solution design, implementation and transition to operations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise security technologies and a solid understanding of security architecture, authentication, access control and data protection.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Email Security and Cloud Security.
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR), Network Detection & Response (NDR), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE/SSE), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Microsoft security solutions, Fortinet security solutions and CyberArk.
