Senior Legal Analyst

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Senior Legal Analyst / Legal Counsel to join the Italy, East Mediterranean & Caspian Legal & Compliance team, based in Athens. This is a great opportunity for a qualified lawyer with 3–5 years of experience who is eager to grow in a dynamic, international environment and partner closely with the business.

Key responsibilities

• Advising internal stakeholders on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, intellectual property, employment topics, and dispute-related issues.
• Supporting the business in identifying, assessing, and managing legal, compliance, and regulatory risks.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and key operational documents.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to enable compliant and informed business decisions.
• Supporting and reporting on legal/compliance initiatives, including contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and providing proactive guidance to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent law degree).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in‑house environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance‑related laws and regulations (or strong motivation and ability to develop this expertise quickly).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong stakeholder management skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands‑on approach in a fast‑paced environment.
