Senior Java Software Engineer – Athens/Thessaloniki

About the role

Join Accenture as a Senior Java Software Engineer to design and deliver cloud‑native, high‑performance solutions for our clients in Greece. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies, micro‑services architectures and a collaborative team to drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and extend highly available, massively scalable micro‑services using Spring Boot.
• Develop cloud‑native solutions leveraging event‑driven architectures with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Assist in designing hybrid‑cloud applications on Azure and OpenShift.
• Participate in technical design, requirement analysis and architecture alignment.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, test automation and code‑quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and solve problems analytically.
