Senior Java Engineer – Documentum Specialist

About the role

At Uni Systems we are turning digital visions into reality. We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with strong Documentum experience to join our UniQue team.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a skilled team as an experienced key member on analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise Java‑based solutions for our customers.
• Maintain and evolve existing software applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
• Cooperate closely with client teams and follow up business requirements.
• Produce and maintain technical and system documentation.
• Validate technical feasibility and propose alternative solutions.
• Coach and guide junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree with at least 7 years of IT experience, including 4+ years in Java‑based solutions (preferably Java 17 or above).
• Very good analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to design and implement solutions with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Java (Java 17+), object‑oriented programming and dependency injection.
• Documentum upgrade expertise.
• SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Design patterns and best practices in software design.
• Code quality metrics and test coverage.
• Relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Java EE application servers (e.g., Wildfly).
