Senior Full Stack Java Engineer

About the role

PwC Greece is looking for an ambitious Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join its AI Software Engineering team. You will help design and develop scalable, AI‑enabled products and platforms that drive digital transformation for leading organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement enterprise‑level, multi‑tier applications tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA, DevOps, cloud engineers, business analysts and product owners.
• Integrate third‑party applications and data sources using modern APIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least four years of professional software development experience using Java technologies.
• Strong communication skills in English and Greek, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Java, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, Maven.
• Front‑end technologies: React, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS.
• Relational databases and SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL).
• NoSQL/Message brokers: MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ (optional).
• Web services: SOAP, REST.
• AI Spec‑Driven Development frameworks (e.g., BMAD‑METHOD, Superpowers, GitHub Spec Kit).
• Version control and CI/CD platforms: GitHub, Azure DevOps.
• Agile/Scrum development methodology.
