Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Fourlis Group is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape modern, customer‑facing web and mobile experiences for its consumer‑goods brands. Reporting to the IT Commerce Manager, you will work across product discovery, navigation, search, account and purchase journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js.
• Build reusable, responsive, brand‑aware components based on a shared design system.
• Translate UX and visual designs into accessible, maintainable experiences.
• Develop mobile applications with React Native or comparable cross‑platform frameworks.
• Ensure consistent experiences across browsers, screen sizes and devices.
• Choose appropriate server‑side, static or client‑side rendering strategies.
• Integrate applications with APIs, content platforms and digital services.
• Implement technical SEO, localization, analytics and consent‑aware tracking.
• Create unit, component, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Participate in code reviews, engineering standards and technical decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Backend, QA, Cloud and Security teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong professional experience in frontend development, especially with React, Next.js and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to build high‑traffic, customer‑facing applications, preferably in retail.
• Experience with reusable design systems and component libraries.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication, session management and browser security.
• Hands‑on experience with automated testing, CI/CD workflows and Git‑based collaboration.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards.
