Senior Enterprise Sales Director, Energy & Grid Infrastructure

About the role

Kiefer Tech is seeking a Senior Enterprise Sales Director to lead the commercialization of its AI, robotics and operational intelligence solutions for utilities, grid operators and energy conglomerates across Greece and the EU. The role bridges cutting‑edge AI engineering with the operational realities of the energy sector, requiring deep technical credibility with senior utility executives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and close a high‑value pipeline of enterprise deals with major Greek and South‑Eastern European energy players.
• Translate Kiefer Tech’s AI, robotics and sovereign data‑center capabilities into concrete operational and financial ROI for grid operators.
• Navigate complex procurement cycles, public tenders and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, EU AI Act and DORA.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Architecture to run technical pre‑sales motions and open strategic doors.
• Act as the voice of the energy market to the CEO and product team, feeding back market pain points to refine product‑market fit.
• Own account planning and relationship management for strategic accounts, including existing relationships with DEDDIE/IPTO.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience selling complex, high‑value technical solutions directly to utilities, grid operators or large energy conglomerates.
• Proven ability to manage long, multi‑stage procurement processes and public tender participation.
• Strong network and credibility with utility COOs, CTOs and heads of innovation.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of grid infrastructure, substation operations, EMS/ADMS and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with industrial automation protocols, especially IEC 61850.
• Knowledge of AI, robotics and sovereign AI data‑center technologies.
