Client Advisor – Birkenstock Flagship Store

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, people‑oriented retailers to join the opening teams of the first two Birkenstock stores in Athens. As a Client Advisor you will act as a true Brand Ambassador, sharing the heritage, craftsmanship and product expertise of Birkenstock with every customer. The role combines storytelling, personalised service and a passion for footwear trends.

Key responsibilities

• Create warm, personal and memorable experiences for every client, placing exceptional service at the core of the role.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, conveying Birkenstock’s values, identity and quality through authentic storytelling.
• Develop deep product knowledge and provide thoughtful, personalised recommendations based on each client’s needs.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure products are presented beautifully.
• Operate the cash register system accurately, handling sales, exchanges, refunds and daily closing procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues on stock management, replenishment and overall store operations.

Required profile

• At least two years of retail experience, preferably in premium or luxury environments; footwear experience is a strong advantage.
• Natural ability to engage with people, understand their needs and build lasting client relationships.
• Genuine passion for fashion, footwear and current market trends.
• Enthusiasm for storytelling and curiosity about the brand’s history, craftsmanship and materials.
• Positive energy, team spirit and a commercial mindset focused on delivering outstanding client experiences.
• Fluency in English and conversational Greek for the City Centre store, or proficiency in Greek with conversational English for the Golden Hall store.
