Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Planetek Hellas is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its fast‑moving team that supports satellite command and control operations. You will bridge development and operations, automating the software lifecycle and ensuring the reliability of cloud‑based infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and release processes.
• Manage and optimise existing infrastructure using cloud technologies and container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform.
• Monitor application performance in production and tune resources for efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote DevOps best practices and integrate new features.
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting solutions to guarantee system availability.
• Handle incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Enforce security standards, manage vulnerabilities and apply hardening measures.

Required profile

• Strong experience in both software development and IT operations.
• Proven ability to automate processes and manage infrastructure at scale.
• Hands‑on expertise with containerisation and orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Commitment to security, reliability and continuous learning.
