Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join KPMG Greece’s technology team. The role involves designing, deploying and maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments across major platforms while supporting continuous delivery and modernization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud environments on Azure, OCI, GCP or AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate provisioning.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Support application modernization, containerisation and database management.
• Respond to incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on new projects, change requests and continuous improvement.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, governance and operational best practices.
• Document architectures, processes and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, OCI, GCP, AWS).
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to assist development teams with application modernization.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline (preferred).
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
