Senior Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our Athens office. The role involves leading audit engagements across diverse industries, providing assurance and advisory services to our clients while contributing to the firm’s high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients across various sectors.
• Plan, execute and complete audit engagements.
• Coordinate directly with clients to organise assignments, timelines and ensure efficient delivery.
• Supervise, mentor and review the work of semi‑senior and junior audit professionals.
• Ensure audit files are complete, accurate and ready for senior review.
• Conduct on‑site client visits and liaise with internal departments to guarantee compliance and timely statutory work.
• Prepare and review financial data, draft reports and projections for management review.
• Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Assure compliance with internal policies and professional standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Holder of or studying towards a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, SOEL or equivalent).
• At least 4 years of audit experience within an audit firm.
• Previous experience with tax certificate engagements is an advantage.
• Results‑oriented with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint.
