Experienced Internal Auditor

About the role

Grant Thornton Greece is seeking an experienced internal auditor to join its dynamic team. You will work on a variety of audit and advisory projects, delivering high‑quality reports and supporting client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Participating in a broad range of internal audit and advisory projects.
• Managing deliverable reports according to local or international standards.
• Identifying and responding to client requests promptly.
• Efficiently managing project teams and developing methodologies.
• Supervising junior colleagues and providing on‑the‑job training.
• Planning, directing and completing internal audits, business process control reviews and compliance activities.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in an audit firm or internal audit department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Exact or Applied Sciences (Master’s a plus).
• Professional internal audit qualification (CIA, CISA, COSO, etc.; CRMA, CFE a strong plus).
• Excellent communication in Greek and English, both written and oral.
• Strong analytical, report‑writing and data‑reporting abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPPF, corporate governance and internal audit standards.
• Advanced MS Office, database and data‑analytics tools.
• Familiarity with project‑management principles.
