Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin & Jetpack Compose)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to lead the development of a modern native Android application built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The role is fully remote and open to candidates residing in Greece, offering the chance to work closely with product, design, backend, platform and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own, develop and maintain the Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build reusable Compose UI components following Android architecture patterns and Hilt dependency injection.
• Contribute to a modular Gradle codebase with dedicated application, network, core, reusable‑component and design‑system modules.
• Integrate backend services, authentication flows and API‑based customer journeys.
• Integrate and maintain third‑party SDKs, including Jumio identity‑verification.
• Implement secure device and customer journeys meeting fintech and Android security standards.
• Write and maintain unit, integration and UI tests; support multiple app flavors and environment configurations.
• Participate in build, release and distribution processes (Firebase App Distribution) and monitor observability with New Relic.
• Engage in code reviews, technical design discussions and ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Kotlin and native Android development.
• Proven experience delivering production Android features with Jetpack Compose.
