Senior Accounting & Compliance Reporting – Tax Professional

About the role

EY is looking for senior accounting and compliance reporting professionals to join its tax team in Greece. You will support clients across various industries with tax and accounting compliance projects, build internal and external relationships, and proactively identify risks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clients' tax compliance, including CIT, VAT and other tax returns.
• Support preparation of financial statements according to new Greek standards and International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as monthly accounting processes.
• Guide and develop junior team members.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with clients to ensure high‑quality, timely service delivery.

Required profile

• Excellent academic background – bachelor’s (or master’s) degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• 4‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big‑four professional services firm.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax compliance, financial reporting and ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
