Senior Accountant

About the role

Premier Capital Hellas is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and continuous improvement of accounting processes across a network of McDonald’s restaurants in Greece.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing cycles.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate unusual balances.
• Record supplier invoices, expenses, payments and other transactions in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of the corporate income tax return and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Monitor myDATA compliance, ensuring accurate data transmission and resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, handling additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and public authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (post‑graduate qualification is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational retail, hospitality or food‑service environment.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Strong knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards, IFRS and Greek tax legislation.
• Solid understanding of financial closing, reconciliations and statutory reporting.
