Security Engineer

About the role

As a Security Engineer within EY's cyber security engineering team, you will help clients strengthen their security posture and respond to emerging threats. You will work across on‑premises, hybrid and multi‑cloud environments, providing advisory and technical execution support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and assess security architectures for complex projects, delivering production support and documentation for on‑premises, hybrid and cloud‑based environments.
• Implement, configure and operationalise new and existing security solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Manage project and operational activities, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Provide advisory support to clients, helping them mitigate risks and improve overall cyber security resilience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in information security engineering.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS).
• Hands‑on experience implementing and operating security solutions in on‑premises, cloud and hybrid settings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation skills for processes, procedures and security designs.
• Experience working with external vendors and suppliers.
