Sales Director – FMCG Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our FMCG distribution business. You will shape and execute the sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence across multiple product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Field Sales, Regional/Area Sales and Key Account Management functions.
• Manage a sales leadership team, including a Field Sales Director (≈40 field staff) and a group of 5 KAM/SKAM professionals.
• Define and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with key retailers, customers and strategic partners.
• Identify new commercial opportunities, partnerships and product categories beyond food.
• Monitor sales performance, commercial KPIs and P&L metrics while coordinating logistics.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to improve visibility, reporting and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of FMCG sales experience, including senior commercial leadership.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi‑layered sales teams.
• Deep knowledge of the Greek FMCG market, retail landscape and distribution model.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and market‑share gains.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, comfortable with P&L analysis.
