R&M Engineering Manager

About the role

Scorpios is seeking an R&M Engineering Manager to lead facilities management, preventive maintenance and operational readiness for its luxury hospitality properties. The role bridges the pre‑opening construction phase and day‑to‑day operations, ensuring all physical assets meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews and oversee construction to guarantee operational functionality.
• Review and optimise MEP drawings, prepare preventive maintenance plans and asset register templates.
• Manage commissioning, testing, snagging and warranty tracking of building systems.
• Define SOPs and coordinate procurement of tools and consumables.
• Supervise maintenance of villas, public areas, pools, gardens, spa and restaurant during the operational phase.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules, handle small works, repairs and energy optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and report monthly KPIs and budgets to GM and ownership.
• Lead upgrade and renovation projects, controlling timeline, budget, quality and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience in luxury resorts or villas.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and sustainable technologies.
• Expertise in pool and spa engineering.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance plans and asset registers.
