Retail Design Architect

About the role

As a Retail Design Architect at Plaisio, you will shape the look and functionality of new and existing stores, turning commercial concepts into tangible, customer‑focused environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design new store layouts that align with the retail concept and ensure functional flow.
• Develop renovation proposals and improvement plans for existing locations.
• Create detailed floor plans, construction drawings, and technical specifications for retail spaces.
• Contribute to thematic campaigns and major commercial activations such as Black Friday and seasonal promotions.
• Support the recording, measurement, and digitisation of store data in SAP when required.
• Manage visual‑related matters, evaluate change requests and propose functional solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, designers, Visual Merchandising, commercial teams and external partners.
• Translate commercial needs into practical architectural solutions for physical stores.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail and ability to blend design with practical implementation.
• Interest in retail design, commercial spaces and customer experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams within a dynamic retail environment.
• Organisational skills with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and ensuring technical accuracy.
• Experience in architectural drawings, floor plans and technical detailing.
• Experience in retail or commercial projects is a strong asset.
