Quality Control Engineer

About the role

Intellectica is seeking a motivated Quality Control Engineer to join its team in Kryoneri, Attiki. Reporting to the Head of Production, you will work closely with engineering and sales to ensure all pumps and related systems meet strict specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure products, materials and manufacturing activities comply with defined quality standards, technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform incoming, in‑process and final inspections on raw materials, components and finished pumps, checking dimensions, tolerances, materials and functional characteristics.
• Monitor and support performance testing, pressure testing and final acceptance tests.
• Conduct or supervise Non‑Destructive Testing (PT, MT, UT) and evaluate results against applicable standards.
• Identify non‑conformities, investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate quality documentation, including inspection reports, material certificates, test results and NDT reports.
• Support ISO quality management system implementation and internal quality procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Machining teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Up to 2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with quality inspections, measurements and testing of industrial/mechanical products.
• Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, tolerances and material requirements.
• Fluency in Greek and English.

Required skills

• Non‑Destructive Testing techniques (PT, MT, UT).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
