Project Manager - Construction Projects

About the role

METLEN Energy & Metals is looking for a Project Manager to lead construction projects within its new subsidiary M Concessions, which handles PPP and concession projects. The role involves overseeing tender reviews, feasibility studies, and the full lifecycle of construction projects across Greece.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, technical specifications and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support feasibility studies, cost analysis and assess project viability.
• Liaise with external consultants, tendering authorities and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, report deviations in cost and schedule, and authorize corrective actions.
• Collect and process progress data, update databases and project schedules.
• Index project correspondence and align it with scheduled activities.
• Maintain cost‑control databases and support financial monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (advantageous).
• 7+ years experience as a supervising site engineer or construction project manager on medium to large scale projects.
• Experience with PPP and concession projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently to sites across Greece and a valid driving licence.
