Production Engineer – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

Micrel Medical Devices SA is seeking a Production Engineer to join its Production Department. You will help ensure that the manufacturing of smart drug‑delivery systems runs smoothly, on schedule, and meets the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise production processes in line with schedules and quality requirements.
• Manage production resources, raw‑material inventories and coordinate consumable supplies.
• Maintain compliance with the company’s quality system and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the production line.
• Prepare and monitor performance‑indicator reports.
• Collaborate with warehouse, quality control, procurement and other departments.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of production equipment.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with production planning, quality control and safety standards.
• Experience in an ISO 13485 regulated environment is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
