Production Engineer

About the role

Symetal, a leading aluminium foil producer, is seeking a results‑driven Production Engineer to join its plant in Mandra. You will support the efficient operation of production machines and help the plant meet its growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the effective operation of production machines, including staff allocation and management.
• Create and monitor KPI reports to boost productivity and reduce scrap.
• Track and report production costs, and support continuous‑improvement projects.
• Develop instructions and documentation for machinery.
• Participate in plant meetings and contribute to quality, health, and safety improvements.
• Schedule operator shifts and implement weekly production programs.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (4‑5 year degree); a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Very good command of English.
• Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Basic computer networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with programming languages.
