Procurement Manager – Industrial Production

About the role

ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of a well‑established industrial production company, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimise procurement operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct and indirect categories supporting operational and production needs.
• Identify, evaluate and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, timely delivery and continuity of supply.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage contractual agreements with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and create value.
• Manage procurement budgets, track expenditure and support financial objectives.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen with analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Effective leadership and people‑management skills to drive team performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
