Principal SoC Architect (Connectivity)

About the role

This senior‑level position sits at the intersection of chip engineering, product strategy and customer requirements. You will translate market and standardization needs into concrete system‑on‑chip architectures for connectivity products, acting as the bridge between marketing, customers and design engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer and standardization requirements into SoC architectures and detailed target specifications.
• Define innovative, low‑power, compact and cost‑effective connectivity SoC designs.
• Derive new concepts and IP blocks, manage external IP selection and vendor relationships.
• Conduct feasibility studies, performance simulation and evaluation of bus and cache architectures.
• Produce technical documentation such as objective specifications, datasheets, verification and production test plans.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in system definition and concept engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong background in digital design and system‑level architecture of embedded SoCs.
• Knowledge of low‑power wireless protocols (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi) and mixed‑signal IC design.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, fluent in English.

What we offer

• Salary €4,000 – €5,500 gross per month (14 payments), based on experience.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in the Athens office, 2 days remote.
