PitStop Leader / Maintenance Technician

About the role

Blueground is seeking a proactive PitStop Leader to oversee apartment turn‑overs and on‑site readiness in Athens. The role blends hands‑on maintenance with team coordination to ensure every property meets the brand’s high standards for guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle property turnovers, coordinating housekeeping, maintenance and final inspections before guest arrivals.
• Assemble furniture, configure Wi‑Fi and tech equipment, and perform minor repairs to ready apartments for move‑in.
• Supervise field teams and manage relationships with external vendors, building staff and housekeeping crews.
• Conduct quality‑control inspections using mobile checklists, flagging issues and confirming cleanliness, functionality and design compliance.
• Provide urgent, hands‑on support such as furniture swaps, appliance fixes, essential deliveries, or guest lockout resolutions.
• Maintain corporate vans and inventory, ensuring tools and supplies are organized and readily available.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience in field operations, facilities, hospitality or housekeeping.
• Comfortable performing basic handyman tasks and minor repairs.
• Physically able to lift 10 kg+ and stay active throughout the workday.
• Tech‑savvy with daily use of Slack, G Suite and mobile applications.
• Strong communicator with a customer‑first mindset and a flexible, can‑do attitude.
