About the role
Maran Tankers Management Inc., a leading tanker operator, is seeking an experienced and motivated Operator to manage and supervise vessel operations. The role involves ensuring operational efficiency of assigned vessels and supporting masters with voyage and charter instructions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise operations of assigned vessels, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and instructions to Masters regarding voyage, charter party, cargo operations, bunkering, and communications.
- Plan, estimate, and analyze voyages, completing reports after each voyage.
- Communicate with Commercial, Technical, Freight Collection, and other departments.
Required profile
- University degree in a shipping‑related subject (or STEM graduate with relevant experience).
- 2–3 years of experience as an Operator or in a similar maritime role.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
