About the role

MARMARAS Navigation Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operator to join its Dry Operations Department. The role involves managing the day‑to‑day operational aspects of a fleet of bulk carriers, ensuring safe and efficient maritime transport while adhering to the company’s high standards for quality, safety and environmental protection.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee dry cargo operations on board and ashore, coordinating loading, stowage and discharge activities.
• Monitor vessel performance and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations.
• Collaborate with ship officers, port agents and shore‑based teams to optimise operational schedules.
• Prepare and review operational documentation, including cargo manifests and safety reports.
• Identify and implement improvements to minimise environmental impact and enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Master's license (Class A or B) valid for bulk carrier operations.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a Dry Operations Department within the shipping industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
