Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team and support financial sector clients. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures and related security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.
• Configure and manage next‑generation firewalls and security policies.
• Support and monitor security platforms including EDR, IPS/IDS, SOC, and SASE solutions.
• Implement and maintain secure VPN connectivity for remote users and site‑to‑site communications.
• Manage and optimize Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect critical applications.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.
• Participate in security incident investigations, threat analysis, and remediation activities.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance‑related tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on security and networking projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Network Security Administration, Network Engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with firewall platforms such as Cisco Secure Firewall, Check Point, or Fortinet FortiGate.
• Experience with EDR, IPS, SOC, SASE, WAF, and VPN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
• Understanding of network security best practices and security frameworks.
