Milaki Plant Controller

About the role

The Milaki Plant Controller will act as the primary finance business partner for the Milaki Plant in Aliveri, supporting the Plant Manager and senior management team. Based at HERACLES Group’s head office in Athens, the role requires regular on‑site visits to the plant to ensure alignment between operational activities and corporate finance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the plant’s budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department managers and aligning targets with corporate objectives.
• Monitor monthly actuals versus budget, analyse cost drivers, and identify performance gaps, risks, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver timely reports on actual versus budgeted results, forecasts, improvement programs, and CAPEX performance.
• Evaluate, monitor, and review post‑implementation performance of CAPEX projects and key plant investments.
• Apply management accounting principles, including costing, internal cost allocation, and analysis of technical and financial data.
• Partner with plant operations, production, procurement, and head‑office finance to align operational goals with financial targets.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and performance management.
• Ensure implementation of internal control standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
