Mid Android Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mid Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Android EFT POS applications for a leading transaction technology provider in Central and Eastern Europe. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and work closely with cross‑functional product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android EFT POS applications.
• Interpret business requirements and create technical specifications.
• Participate in software development, testing, deployment and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Hands‑on experience building Android applications.
• Strong familiarity with Android design principles and best practices.
• Excellent command of Greek and English.

• Java
• Kotlin
• C++ (plus)
• Android SDK (multiple versions, screen‑size handling)
• RESTful APIs (JSON)
• UI automation testing and integration testing.
• Mobile application security.
• Experience with banking technologies and transaction processing.
• Modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Hilt).
• CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile deployment.
• Agile software development methodologies.
