Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the Energy Center of Agios Nikolaos located at the beach of Distomo, Boeotia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and upkeep of the plant’s mechanical systems while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment in collaboration with the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
• Manage and monitor long‑term maintenance contracts.
• Design and track the annual maintenance program according to manufacturers' instructions and O&M manuals.
• Participate in internal inspections and implement actions for safety and environmental protection.
• Oversee spare‑parts procurement and inventory in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager.
• Guide and support contractors during maintenance work.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and use of SAP for maintenance needs.
• Prepare and revise equipment usage instructions and technical documentation.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and adherence to corporate policies and the Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• University degree (Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering.

• SAP for maintenance management.
