Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Intellectica is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering firm in Elefsina, Greece. The role focuses on the design and implementation of mechanical, primarily HVAC, systems for industrial and infrastructure projects such as warehouses and technical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of HVAC systems for industrial projects.
• Support mechanical studies across project stages, translating requirements into practical solutions.
• Prepare and update technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Assist with engineering calculations and equipment selection.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Help prepare technical documentation for project delivery.
• Participate in occasional site visits to understand design application.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in engineering consultancies.
• Exposure to industrial projects such as warehouses, logistics facilities, or production sites.
• Experience with HVAC system design or studies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and a willingness to develop technical skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work onsite in Elefsina.
