MDM Data Integration Engineer

About the role

MDM Data Integration Engineer brings data into Profisee and delivers the golden record to the systems and users that need it. The role owns the technical integration architecture and platform operation, including source extraction, ingestion pipelines, initial load, outbound publication, write‑back to source systems, environments, security, and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse source systems such as SAP/ERP, CIS/Billing, meter data management, GIS/network, CRM, HR, and legacy applications and design integration architecture (batch vs real‑time, one‑way vs bidirectional).
• Build ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric and execute initial loads with reconciliation.
• Develop outbound flows delivering the golden record to data warehouses, lakehouses, Power BI and other consumers.
• Implement write‑back to source systems via REST APIs, webhooks or Profisee Connect, including error handling and retry logic.
• Administer SQL Server environments (dev/test/prod), manage configuration deployments and integrate with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Set up monitoring, alerting and logging for pipelines and the MDM platform.
• Support functional consultants with data profiling, large‑volume matching tests and document technical architecture and runbooks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of data engineering experience on Azure.
• Strong SQL Server and T‑SQL skills.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs, JSON and authentication flows.
• Programming experience in Python or C#.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
