Materials Manager – MEP

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Manager specialized in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems to support the development of our new resorts in Thessaloniki. The role will drive market research, supplier engagement and procurement planning for a wide range of MEP equipment, ensuring technical compliance, cost efficiency and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing market research on key MEP systems (HVAC plant, ductwork, pipework, electrical distribution, lighting, UPS/generators, fire protection, controls/BMS), tracking price movements, availability and lead times.
• Develop and maintain an MEP materials intelligence library with preferred manufacturers, approved products, technical datasheets, compliance certificates and warranties.
• Support MEP design by proposing technically compliant alternatives and evaluating cost, performance, energy impact and constructability.
• Create and update MEP price logs, long‑lead trackers and supplier/contractor contact lists, issuing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
• Engage with manufacturers and contractors to understand product roadmaps, capacity and after‑sales support, and implement dual‑sourcing or early procurement strategies.
• Package MEP materials for sourcing, define evaluation criteria and prepare option comparisons for approval.
• Collaborate with Commercial to align MEP benchmarks with budgets, support value‑engineering initiatives and ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical sourcing and relevant codes/standards.
• Maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation and identify supply risks, proposing contingency plans and continuous improvement of MEP templates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEP materials management or procurement within the construction/hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical and market research skills with the ability to assess technical and commercial aspects of MEP equipment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
