Manual QA Engineer – Web Applications

About the role

Quento Technologies S.A. is looking for a motivated Manual QA Engineer to join the core testing team of a fintech project. The role focuses on manual testing of web applications and collaborates closely with both development and business analysis teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and execute manual test cases and scenarios covering functional, regression and integration testing.
• Develop test strategies and plans for new features or changes and schedule testing cycles.
• Log, track and help resolve defects using collaboration tools, working closely with developers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal anti‑bribery policies.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience testing web applications.
• Ability to interpret complex functional specifications and design test plans accordingly.
• Methodical approach with strong attention to detail and clear documentation skills.
• Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience testing web applications manually.
• Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to design test cases from functional requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset and meticulous documentation.
