Maintenance Operator (Experienced)

About the role

Alstom is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operator to join its rolling‑stock maintenance team. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective servicing of trains, metros and other rail vehicles, ensuring safety, efficiency and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Execute industrial work instructions and follow Alstom quality standards.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including fault finding and schematic interpretation.
• Use MMIS/SES IT systems to record progress and report status.
• Complete work checklists, work orders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support secondary level fault diagnosis and assist with call‑outs and breakdowns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Comply with EHS regulations and Alstom Zero Deviation Plan.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification from an accredited school.
• Graduate of a technical institute (TEI) with experience in complex industrial maintenance.
• Preferably dual‑skilled in mechanical and electrical/electronic systems.
• Willingness to receive cross‑training (forklift, crane, vehicle driving) as required.
