Maintenance Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

Barrière’s new hotel in Mykonos is looking for a Maintenance Manager to ensure the flawless operation and appearance of the property. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the building, infrastructure and all technical systems, guaranteeing safety and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead first‑line maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and pool systems to avoid downtime.
• Enforce health, safety and fire regulations in line with Greek Fire Department standards.
• Design and execute a preventive maintenance plan that respects the high‑season calendar.
• Oversee water safety, Legionella prevention and pool maintenance.
• Implement Barrière’s sustainability policy and manage energy, water and telephony contracts.
• Prepare and monitor operating and investment budgets, negotiate contracts and control purchasing.
• Recruit, train and evaluate the maintenance team, and act as the technical liaison with corporate headquarters.
• Coordinate audits and inspections by local and international bodies.

Required profile

• Strong decision‑making ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• In‑depth knowledge of health, safety and fire standards applicable in Greece.
• Experience managing a multidisciplinary maintenance team in a hospitality environment.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
