Logistics Manager – Warehouse & Distribution

About the role

Pet City Group, the leading pet‑retail chain in Greece, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee its warehouse and distribution network. You will ensure smooth inbound, storage, order preparation and dispatch processes for both retail stores and e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operations of the Logistics Center, guaranteeing safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate operational teams, allocate responsibilities and optimise resource utilisation.
• Manage end‑to‑end warehouse activities: receiving, put‑away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, order preparation and dispatch.
• Prepare and distribute retail store orders using the company’s fleet.
• Handle high‑volume e‑commerce orders, meeting turnaround times and service level targets.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, on‑time preparation, picking performance, inventory accuracy and resource utilisation; implement corrective actions.
• Plan workload and manpower based on daily volumes and peak periods.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Utilise WMS and related tools to support operational accuracy.

Required profile

• Hands‑on operational leader with deep understanding of warehouse day‑to‑day realities.
• Proven ability to translate data and KPIs into actionable improvements.
• Strong people‑management skills, capable of setting clear priorities and leading teams in a complex logistics environment.
• Experience coordinating logistics for multi‑channel retail and e‑commerce operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
