Local Quality Officer – Athens

About the role

The Local Quality Officer will be the primary quality representative for CSL Behring’s Greek affiliate. Acting as a bridge between the local organization, manufacturing sites and Global Quality, you will safeguard product quality and patient safety while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and continuously improve the local Quality Management System in line with CSL standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide quality oversight for all CSL Behring products marketed, distributed or supplied in Greece.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, local regulations and maintain inspection readiness.
• Manage quality processes such as deviations, CAPAs, product complaints, change controls, training, documentation, recalls and risk management.
• Oversee quality activities related to third‑party logistics providers, suppliers, vendors and customers.
• Support new product launches and monitor quality performance indicators.
• Lead self‑inspections and support internal, external and regulatory audits.
• Act as primary contact for product recalls, field actions and supply‑chain quality issues.
• Participate in the Affiliate Management Team, providing quality expertise for strategic discussions.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• At least 2 years working with Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in GDP‑compliant distribution and warehouse management.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality compliance processes.

• CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) management.
